This Advertisement for the new Honda Accord was shot in real time with no CGI involved in the sequence. It required 606 takes and cost $6 million to shoot and took 3 months to complete.

The equipment was so precisely set up that the crew literally had to tip toe around the set for fear of disturbing things, which led to some unexpected problems. As the day went on, the studio would get hotter, says Steiner. It meant that the wood would expand and the cog or exhaust that spins around would move slightly faster. These tiny changes made big differences to the precision set-up of the equipment......

.....The sequence where the tires roll up a slope looks particularly impressive but is very simple. Steiner says that there is a weight in each tire and when the tire is knocked, the weight is displaced and in an attempt to rebalance itself, the tire rolls up the slope.

The ad, which shows parts from two Honda Accord cars pushing each other forward, was created in two continuous takes (because no studio was big enough to accommodate the entire sequence).

$6 million?  Shit.  After all that we were expecting to see a Lamboughini or something at the end... instead of the Honda Accord.

But wait a minute folks.  It claims to be the most expensive commerical ever. Not!  Maybe the most tedious, or the most expensive car commercial, or the most expensive that year.  But when it's all said-and-done, it did not even come close to being the most expensive.  According to Business Insider, here are the MOST EXPENSIVE commercials ever.  Check 'em out!

PEPSI: $8.1 million (2002)

This one featuring miss Britney...

CHRYSLER: $12 million (2011)

Featuring Eminem and Chrysler.

AVIVA: $13.4 million (2008)
This one featuring a whole whack o' them.. Bruce Willis, Dame Edna, Ringo Starr, Elle Macpherson and Alice Cooper.  Alice?  Whoa!

GUINNESS: $16 million (2007)

This one was pretty cool featuring a small Argentinian town and some 6,000 'dominoes' to celebrate Guiness's 80th year of marketing history!

CHANEL: $33 million (2004)

This one featuring miss Nicole Kidman...

All that money for commercials half of us probably didn't even watch because we were too busy taking care of business during.. well, during commercials.  Craziness we tell ya.  Craziness.

Scorned Husband in Jealous Spray

 photo paintrevenge_zpsbb1bbaa4.jpg

A FURIOUS husband has taken public revenge on his wife's admirer in an unlikely place -- his rival's garage door.
A Reddit user with the screen name igotskraped posted a photo of a garage attached to a house in Illinois, tagged with a very clear message in red spray paint: "Don't e-mail my wife!!!!"
The scorned spouse added on the smaller side entrance: "Stop now".
The images were shared a month ago. There has been no update on this very public love triangle.
